И все-таки после того, как Янг отдал приказ ТиДжей готовится к отлету вместе со Скоттом в 1.05, она к нему пришла.
И о чем думал Янг, когда провожал глазами улетающий шаттл?
О чем думала Тамара, я знаю.

YOUNG: That's what you say, but I'm dead serious about it: that was like - that was the worst shuttle docking I have ever seen in my life!
SCOTT: What are you talking about?! I barely even dented it!
JOHANSEN: Just the grinding noises!
YOUNG: At the very least there's a giant scrape along the bottom. I'm gonna make you put on a spacesuit and go out there and fix it right now!
YOUNG: Sergeant, we're gonna need some of that high-high temperature spaceship paint for Scott here.
GREER: Yes, sir, I believe I've found some!

JOHANSEN: Yes, sir. Good luck.

GREER: What's the plan?
JOHANSEN: We open the door, they go for the water, we close the lid.
GREER: All right. Who's gonna do that?
JOHANSEN: I am.
GREER: No-no-no. I will.
JOHANSEN: I'm not the one with the torch.
GREER: No, look, I am not gonna let you do that.
JOHANSEN: I'm not the one who's killed any of them, Sergeant. You are.
GREER: I'll stand back; torch them if they get out.
JOHANSEN: No. I want you out of sight.
GREER: What, you don't trust me?
JOHANSEN: No. I don't.

ARMSTRONG: I just wanted to see if there's anything you need.
JOHANSEN: You can let us out of here.
ARMSTRONG: Don't worry. You won't have to stay in here for much longer.
JOHANSEN: I know, ‘cause the colonel's gonna take back the ship. You don't have any idea what you're up against.
ARMSTRONG: I think we do.
JOHANSEN: Not a clue. Sorry, but a bunch of civilians up against the colonel's training and experience?
ARMSTRONG: It's about listening to reason.
JOHANSEN: Not once you took this ship. That made it war, and that's what we do. It's not gonna make life on this ship any easier, and it's not gonna make what those aliens did to you any better.
ARMSTRONG: Neither will anything you could possibly say to me.

JOHANSEN: We can't afford to have a majority vote every time a decision needs to be made, Chloe! We need a leader.

SCOTT: What the hell are you doing?!

Наверное, Грир, Скотт и ТиДжей - это та дружба, которая нравится мне на Судьбе.

Вообще, эта серия для меня одной сплошной шипперский кавай, оказывается. Даже несмотря на то, что прямых, допустим, моментов не было.
ARMSTRONG: Hey. Are you OK? I thought you were feeling better.
JOHANSEN: Yeah. I am.
ARMSTRONG: Here, let me help you back to camp. You should lie down.
JOHANSEN: No, Chloe. I'm not sick.
ARMSTRONG: How far along?
JOHANSEN: About fifteen weeks. Right before we left Icarus. But nobody knows, and I'd like to keep it that way.

Мда, кто-то явно очень бурно прощался. Потому, как почти перед попаданием на Судьбу, по словам же самой ТиДжей. Стратили они определенно на фоне ее отставки. А еще паскудное подозрение, что знала она об этом достаточно давно. И да, она отказалась выпить с Кейном, но по-моему, это было еще раньше.

SCOTT: Eleven people total. Um, Doctor Caine, Chloe ... Lieutenant Johansen ...
YOUNG: What?! No! Scott! You tell them ...

Вот-вот, стоило заикнуться о том, что ТиДжей решила там остаться, как от фирменного спокойстия Янга, граничащего с пофигизмом, ничего не осталось. Совсем. Вплоть до мыслей, как за шкирку притащить обратно всех, начиная с непослушной любовницы.

SCOTT: Uh, Eli just radioed. Colonel Young is on his way down here.
И да, понимание Тамарой того, что хрен она, глядя в глаза Янгу, сможет отказаться. Знала, что попросит. Или прикажет. Знала, что не сможет ослушаться. Просьба ли, приказ, формулировка не важна. Важен тот, от кого исходит. Не думаю, что ТиДжей особо-то послушная. Иначе бы даже не думала о том, чтобы остаться на планете. Нет. Просто дело было в Янге.
Что в принципе и произошло.

В такие серии я вижу того Янга, которого очень люблю. Не все его поступки правильные, далеко не все. Но в конце концов, ткните в того, кто не ошибается. Да, авторитарный. Да, не желающий считаться с подчиненными, считающий, что может забрать хотя бы тех, кто носит форму. Потому, что он еще отвественен за них. И в этом я согласна целиком и полностью.

Я все никак не могу определиться, какой момент в сериале люблю больше всего. Момент целования рук. То ли этот, то ли на Новусе...
Но с этого момента я влюбилась в Янг/ТиДжей.

YOUNG: Hey, T.J. Listen, I'm sorry. One thing turned into another and the next thing you knew, a five minute update is ...
JOHANSEN: I'm pregnant.
YOUNG: You're pregnant? Um, how-how far along are you?
JOHANSEN: About twenty-two weeks. It's yours ... ours.
YOUNG: A baby ... on this ship.
JOHANSEN: I'm keeping it.
YOUNG: No, I didn't - I didn't say you shouldn't.
JOHANSEN: What are you saying?
YOUNG: Uh ...We're gonna work out how to make this work, that's what we're gonna do. We're gonna make it work, OK?

Но умиляет не это даже, а ощущение семьи, которая снова вместе, когда блудная троица возвращается домой.

YOUNG: Come in. Oh, hi.
JOHANSEN: Hi. Uh, I'd like permission to join the team going through the Stargate to the planet.
YOUNG: Well, Scott's going.
JOHANSEN: He's a little busy flying the shuttle right now.
YOUNG: He's already on his way back.
JOHANSEN: So is this how it's gonna be? Maybe I'd like to see the planet where I might have to raise our child.
YOUNG: You mean, if the ship isn't fixed by then.
JOHANSEN: Yeah. Maternal instincts, I guess.
YOUNG: OK. Permission granted.
JOHANSEN: Thanks.
YOUNG: T.J.
JOHANSEN: I'll be careful.

Да, этот момент чешет очередной кинк... особенно то, как она говорит последнюю фразу, даже не оборачиваясь к Эверетту.
И два письма, одно Мэтту, второе Тамаре. Первому, очевидно, напутствие, что и как делать с подчиненными и уверена, что просьба позаботиться о ТиДжей и ребенке. А второй... а что может написать мужчина, жертвующий собой, матери своего ребенка? При том, что эта жертва ради них тоже.

А еще меня плющит уклад жизни на Судьбе.
